Jeanette grew up one of five girls and always had a passion for learning the sciences, which organically led to a love of cosmetology.

She is proudly certified by Ouidad as a Curly Hair Specialist, and trained at Ouidad’s flagship salon in New York City. Working with naturally-curly hair has become the most rewarding part of Jeanette’s career, and she especially loves to create a positive salon experience for those who feel they have “difficult” or “unmanageable” hair.

In addition to her time behind the chair at W Salon, Jeanette is a regional educator for both Ouidad and Keratin Complex—a hair health-focused, smoothing treatment manufacturer. She enjoys traveling throughout New York State and coaching other salons and stylists on treatments and services for their clients—whether they’re looking to stay curly, go smooth or anything in between. Her professional philosophy is creating healthier, manageable hair which fits the individual client’s lifestyle.
